Below is a list of essential supplies, free signage downloads and training resources we have available to help keep you, your customers and staff, and our entire community safe during this time.

Deliveries, Service and Preventative Maintenance

To practice social distancing and limit exposure, our drivers will place orders inside or near entryways and will no longer traverse offices or kitchens to put away orders. Service and preventative maintenance has been suspended. Our Service Technicians will respond to urgent service calls only.


Will Call Office

We will be adhering to social distancing practices at our Will Call Office. Please call in Will Call orders at 585-458-3300 and give the description of your car (make, model, color). Our staff will bring your order out to you. Please do not enter the building and please practice social distancing by not crowding outside of the office. Our Will Call Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM – 3:00PM.


Food Service Customers (Carry-Out/Delivery Needs, Relief Funds)

Carry-Out/Delivery Needs - We are committed to helping you with any of your carry-out/delivery needs during this time. Per the March 22nd mandate, restaurants and bars for take-out and delivery only are considered essential businesses. Please contact your Account Manager or Customer Service regarding questions or to place any orders for carry-out/delivery supply needs.

Coronavirus Relief Funds and Loans for Restaurants - The James Beard Organization has listed some helpful information, relief funds and resources for restaurants and workers coping with the COVID-19 emergency.

Federal Coronavirus Aid, Recovery & Economic Stimulus (CARES) Act

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will provide coronavirus relief options for small businesses impacted by COVID-19. These loans are meant to provide economic support to small businesses and assist with overcoming the temporary loss of revenue that’s being experienced. These loans can be used to pay:

  • Fixed debts
  • Payroll
  • Accounts payable
  • various other bills that can’t be paid

City of Rochester Expands Kiva Loan Program

Kiva provides crowdfunded business loans of $1,000-$15,000 at 0% interest and with no fees. The City of Rochester has announced changes to the Kiva loan program available to businesses located in the City of Rochester. The changes are as follows:

  • Zero-interest loan maximum increased to $15,000
  • Elimination of some eligibility issues
  • Implementation of a 6-month grace period repayment schedule


Monroe County Emergency Small Business Support Program

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, Monroe County has established an Emergency Small Business Support Loan Program (small businesses defined as having 50 or fewer full-time or full-time equivalent employees) impacted by the pandemic. To qualify, businesses must have 2 - 50 employees and NY-45's must be included with the application. Highlights include:

  • Zero-interest loans up to $10,000, which may be used to support operations and employment
  • Businesses with 50 or fewer full-time or full-time equivalent employees are eligible
  • No application cost



Shared Work Program Partial Unemployment Insurance Benefits

Shared Work lets you keep trained staff and avoid layoffs. Employees can receive partial Unemployment Insurance benefits while working reduced hours. If you keep your employees during a temporary slowdown, you can gear up quickly when business conditions improve. You do not have the expense of hiring and training new employees. Also, you spare your employees the hardships of full unemployment. Full-time, part-time and seasonal employees are eligible.

Job Portal for Essential Businesses and Job Seekers in Monroe County

The Greater Rochester Enterprise partnered with Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, RochesterWorks, and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce to support a job portal to connect essential businesses with job seekers.

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA)

The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) requires employers with under 500 employees to provide employees with the following paid sick leave or expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19. See the FFCRA Fact Sheet for an overview of the below information.

  • Two weeks (up to 80 hours) of paid sick leave at the employee’s regular rate of pay where the employee is unable to work because the employee is quarantined (pursuant to Federal, State, or local government order or advice of a health care provider), and/or experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and seeking a medical diagnosis; or

  • Two weeks (up to 80 hours) of paid sick leave at two-thirds the employee’s regular rate of pay because the employee is unable to work because of a bona fide need to care for an individual subject to quarantine (pursuant to Federal, State, or local government order or advice of a health care provider), or to care for a child (under 18 years of age) whose school or child care provider is closed or unavailable for reasons related to COVID-19, and/or the employee is experiencing a substantially similar condition as specified by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, in consultation with the Secretaries of the Treasury and Labor; and

  • Up to an additional 10 weeks of paid expanded family and medical leave at two-thirds the employee’s regular rate of pay where an employee, who has been employed for at least 30 calendar days, is unable to work due to a bona fide need for leave to care for a child whose school or child care provider is closed or unavailable for reasons related to COVID-19.

  • Small businesses with fewer than 50 employees may qualify for exemption from the requirement to provide leave due to school closings or childcare unavailability if the leave requirements would jeopardize the viability of the business as a going concern.

Preventative Practices

While at work and home, please follow the below preventative actions to keep yourself healthy:

  • Frequently wash your hands with soap and water for 15-20 seconds, especially when:
  • Frequently sanitize your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.
  • Wear a cloth face covering when out in public. Download our Face Covering Use Sheet with instructions on how to wear and remove face coverings properly, how to wash face coverings and when to wear. 
  • Avoid touching your face and surfaces.
  • Frequently disinfect areas including work phones, desks, keyboards and chairs, as well as light switches, door handles, counters and other frequently touched surfaces.
  • Practice social distancing and stay at least 6 feet away from other people. Do not congregate. 
  • Stay home if you feel sick, are experiencing symptoms or are around others that are sick or experiencing symptoms.
  • Restrict entry from outside members when possible.

Per the CDC, the virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person:
  • Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
  • Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.
    • These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
    • These droplets can also be detected for up to hours or days on various surfaces including cardboard, plastic and stainless steel.
